Paying tribute to Jake…

Many of you will be familiar with my insane fleet:

1976 Triumph TR6 (not technically mine but lives at my house)

198 5 Jaguar XJ6

1998 SAAB convertible

2013 MINI

2016 Volvo V60CC

With the UNBELIEVABLE weather we had this week and weekend today was the first day I didn’t drive a convertible in over a week. In fact the Volvo hadn’t been driven for so long the battery was dead.

Changed the oil in the Jag for winter use (I run 20-50 in summer) and noticed one tiny fuel hose that looked pretty bad; I forgot to replace when I did the others.

Cleaning the garage I Rolled the MINI out and saw a puddle of coolant. Which on an R56 100% means cracked thermostat housing. Oh well it had a pretty good run, almost made 100k. New one ordered.

Ha, only convertibles in running condition. E ven though today is our last day of perfect weather I had a ton of expressway driving to do so jumped the Volvo right quick.

Have I nice sunset I drove into after work Friday. Thanks CA fires!

This  week has been incredible. I didn't have many places to go, but I did quite a lot of November scooter riding.

Thanks, it’s in pretty decent shape (with quirks). It makes beautiful inline-6 music too which is about the best part. It actually recently retook lowest mileage of the fleet being only about 59k.

It’s been driven just enough to keep it from rotting.
